BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife (BBSAK) is a very capable tool Blackberry users either beginner, intermediate to advanced to tamper with the Operating System and application BB.
With BBSAK you can back up applications, remove the BB OS to downgrade or a clean install, take screenshots, removing IT Policy and is a tool used by the master to make the Hybrid OS on Blackberry.
Features of the Blackberry Swiss Army Knife is very rich and has many more functions than the Blackberry Desktop Manager application, however it is advised to use caution due to operating errors can make your BB does not work.

Tab Backup / Restore

• Backup and restore third-party applications (3rd Party): BBSAK capable of backing up an application from a third party (not made by RIM) RIM and other applications such as Twitter and Facebook. To backup application in BB, go to the tab Backup / Restore and select Backup to backup and Restore to restore to your Blackberry mobile phone.
• Wipe Device: Very useful if you want to upgrade / downgrade BlackBerry with a blank state. Wipe it with BB OS will be deleted and the display screen "error 507". Make sure you backup before doing Wipe your BB device.
• Load OS: this function allows you to install, upgrade or downgrade OS Blackberry. This function is exactly the same when you update using AppLoader
• Reading System in Blackberry: Read System lets you see COD (application) is installed on the Blackberry with a list showing the name, size and version.

• Install COD: Allows the installer to install COD from computer to Blackberry. Click the Install button to use COD (s) then select the directory where your files are COD. (Note: Application is installed in this way will not appear in the Application menu BB.
• Storing application: Save COD (s) allows the user to save COD application from Blackberry to the computer. To use the function to use Read System, select the name and click the Save button COD COD (s). (COD Backup folder will be located in the BBSAK / CODs)
• Removing Application: Remove COD (s) used to remove COD. You do this by using the Read System then select the application and click the Remove COD (s).
• Install JAD and JAD Maker: Install button is used to install JAD JAD files, while JAD maker according to function names create JAD file from COD files.

• Dump Phone: Functions for Hybrid OS makers that point to save all Blackberry COD file to your computer. (Stored in the folder BBSAK / Dump)
• Read / Clear Event Log: Save the log event to the computer and to delete the event log on Blackberry.
• Delete IT Policy (Factory Reset): Factory Reset function is used to "remove the IT Policy on Blackberry" which is usually set through the BES Server.
